The European Forum of National Nursing and Midwifery Associations (EFNNMA) is the voice of nursing and midwifery within WHO European Region.Working in partnership and strategically with WHO and other key stakeholders we aim to influence health policy, improve the quality of health services and the health of people across the 53 Member States of the Region. We are passionate advocates of the central and unique contribution that Nurses and Midwives make to individual and population health and well-being across Europe and are committed to ensuring both professions are supported to deliver excellence in their practice. As the nature of care changes we believe that strengthening and developing the nursing and midwifery workforce through the provision of lifelong learning and research delivers excellence in public health and people-centered healthcare.
EFNNMA Annual General Assembly to meet on March 24, 2022
EFNNMA will hold its annual General Assembly on March 24, 2022
9.30-9.45 CET we invite you to join the virtual ceremony when the new Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between WHO Regional Director Dr. Hans H. Kluge and president of the EFNNMA Valentina Sarkisova.
10.00-12.00 CET we invite official NNA and NMA member delegates to join the EFNNMA annual General assembly.
Please, be reminded that up to two representatives from the member-association may be present at the General assembly - official representative and a deputy, and only the official representative may cast the vote. There will be no elections, but the GA is to vote over specific issues of the Agenda.
We plan that the meeting will take two hours and hope to complete discussion in time. Please, take a note of the GA documentation which is forwarded to you with this letter.
